Committees of ISLM

Institute of Maritime and Logistics Management (ISLM) has established the following Committees to meet the operational objectives, policies and agendas of ISLM so as to serve the interests of the members, professional community, and industries.
Members who serve on the committees have a range of backgrounds and experiences making them fit for leadership. Members are invited to join and volunteer their expertise to assist any relevant committee.

Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee promotes the recruitment and induction of new members into ISLM and retain existing valued members, by fostering improved member experience at ISLM, being responsible for overseeing members’ benefits, and organizing events such as members’ night get-togethers.

Alliances Committee:
The Alliances Committee works to build Collaborative Alliances with other Organizations, Institutions, Professional Entities, and Industry members alike with ISLM on the local, regional and global stage. It also helps members in making new connections and international collaborations. The Committee acts as a liaison center of ISLM in support its agenda, mission, and promote cultural understanding and professional knowledge sharing.

Editorial and Social Media:
The Editorial and Social Media Committee of ISLM. It facilitates in connecting with the ISLM members, professionals and community at large via the traditional publications and harnessing the enhanced convenience and reach of various social media platforms. By putting out quality content periodically ISLM seeks to enhance opportunities and ability in achieving its goals, be it for providing updates, publicity, promotion, awareness, education, to report progress, and share achievements.

Other Committees and/or sub-committees may be formed (permanent or temporary) to enhance objectives of ISLM.
